About the Awards
The Jimmy Greer Awards honour people around the world whose efforts – big or small – help create better disability inclusion and accessibility, either in their workplace or their community.
They are for those who often go unrecognised, yet are taking steps to make a real difference.
There are many people who take the time and give their energy, though it is not ‘their job’ to do so and it can feel like a lonely place at times. These awards are intended to show those making a difference that they are seen, they are appreciated and they are amazing human beings.
These awards are in honour of the late Jimmy Greer, the father of our Founder, Jodie Greer. Jimmy was always a big supporter of our work and a keen ally for inclusion and accessibility.
